BLT - L miniature veggies

Most anyone who meets me quickly falls prey to my near incessant ravings over my dogs. Dear to my heart is my runty little 12 lb boston terrier, who also happens to run a miniature produce stand. Behold as she sells:

What is this thing: padded hangers

I just wanted to mention something that has been a lifesaver for me and my dresses this year: ye olde padded hanger. Most commonly relegated to lingerie shops, these hangers have eliminated shoulder bumps from my sleeved dresses.

If you know what I'm talking about, you need these. Forget huggable hangers (velvet flocked wire hangers) - padded hangers are where it is at. So many great handmade ones to choose from at the thrift stores, too! And for so cheap!

In other news, we have the go ahead for the walls to be put up! This old house (circa 1875) was never insulated, so getting 'er up to code has been a long and arduous process. I am so excited to enjoy many cozy winters ahead here!
The nice thing about ripping everything out is all the nifty things you get to put in - like our beautiful new skylights!
